What it will be

A library of writing, from this hill and the land around it

We are putting together a library of writing — by Chef Ubaldo and by the guests we invite to our table.

A window onto the food culture of this place, the way of living it teaches, the terroir underneath it, and everything else we care about: good tables, travel, art, music, and the things that make a life worth living.

Some of it will be practical — what things cost here, when to come, where to stay, what the weather really does. Most of it will not. It will be about a peninsula that has been quietly extraordinary for a very long time, and about the slower way of doing things it has taught us.

We will be sharing the Journal with you soon.
