Set on our private twenty-six-acre culinary estate in the East Cape, where the desert meets the Sea of Cortés.
The evening opens with an elixir of the Baja and a walk through the estate. Then the aperitivo — a Cardón Spritz of damiana, basil, citrus and prosecco — served on the terrace while the sun goes down behind the Sierra de la Laguna.
Dinner follows: six courses, unhurried, cooked over wood in an open kitchen a few steps from where you are sitting. The menu is designed almost daily, around whatever the growers and the sea gave us that morning.
An optional pairing of five labels follows it, one with each course. Pouring Mexico’s finest wines, our sommelier takes you through the country’s producing regions — vintages and varietals as vast as our culture and folklore.
By dessert the light has gone entirely. The estate dims its own, and you are eating under the kind of stars you only get this far from a city.
/the-estate porque el ensayo era largo; aquí el titular tiene doce palabras y el texto 152, así que la columna angosta partía el titular en siete renglones y dejaba un hueco vertical enorme./the-estate, y aquí competía con lo que el visitante vino a saber. The estate seats twelve guests a night, Thursday to Sunday.
Each party is seated at its own table, with the people you came with, to share a meaningful and unhurried experience.
Groups from two to twelve are welcome to reserve a table. For larger parties, the estate can be reserved privately.
Private Gatherings →The evening runs approximately three hours, from arrival to the last course, timed so the first courses fall right after the golden hour.
/weddings: en una boda siempre hay abuelos o invitados con movilidad reducida, y es una preocupación real de la pareja al elegir venue. The estate sits twenty-five minutes from downtown San José del Cabo — close, but outside the commercial corridor of Los Cabos. The drive is beautiful the whole way: a paved road with views of desert and ocean, all the way to our gate, and from there 1.5 miles of sand road, perfectly maintained and well signed. Any car makes it without difficulty.
The only thing to watch for is the local wildlife. Baja is known for its free-range policy, so you will come across burros and cattle on the road. Drive slowly, and enjoy the ride.
Rideshare apps and taxis generally charge a surcharge for the area, and some will decline the trip back at night: there are no drivers waiting for a fare in the middle of the desert. We can arrange private transport for you — drivers we trust, who know the road and the estate, and charge far better rates. A round trip from Puerto Los Cabos, downtown San José or the hotel corridor runs around $2,000 MXN. Ask us when you book.
*The rate above is an estimate for reference only. Every transfer is quoted individually and is subject to change and to availability on the date requested.
Please use Google Maps only. Other navigation apps route incorrectly and will most likely leave you on the wrong road.
Reservations are made through OpenTable, with payment in advance. Choose your night, and we will write to you before it to ask about allergies, transport, and anything else that will make the evening easier.
